List of Documents Required for Vehicle Registration at RTO

A permanent RC is issued within a month’s time however a temporary RC is provided to the applicant for a short-term basis. A Temporary RC is valid only for 30 days.

- Identity Proof

- Passport size photographs
- Customs Clearance Certificate if the vehicle is imported
- Copy of Vehicle insurance documents
- Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate
- Sales tax certificate in case the vehicle is bought from another state
- PAN Card copy
- The temporary registration number issued by RTO
- Vehicle invoice
- Registration fee receipt
